## What You’ll Do

### Accounting & Financial Operations

- Own and support day-to-day accounting activities primarily for the German entity while supporting finance operations across the US and UAE
- Manage journal entries, transaction postings, bank and supplier reconciliations, supplier invoice processing, and payment runs in Germany
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities under German accounting standards
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation in compliance with German tax and statutory requirements
- Coordinate with external accounting firms, tax advisors, payroll providers, and auditors
- Support vendor onboarding, expense management, and finance administration

### Reporting & Forecasting

- Assist in the preparation of financial and management reports for the German entity
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow tracking
- Assist with variance analysis and financial reporting

### Process Improvement & Finance Operations

- Improve and standardize finance processes and internal controls
- Support ERP, reporting, and finance system optimization
- Contribute to automation and continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate cross-functionally on finance and operational projects

### Compliance & Governance

- Support VAT, tax, statutory reporting, and compliance activities
- Provide support on transfer pricing and international finance topics
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance through structured control processes

## What You Bring

- 5–8 years of experience in accounting and financial operations within Germany
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Professional accounting qualifications are considered a plus
- Strong knowledge of German accounting standards, VAT, and finance processes
- Experience working in international and fast-paced organizations
- Hands-on experience with accounting systems, DATEV, QuickBooks and/or NetSuite, and reporting tools
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- High level of accuracy, structure, and attention to detail
- Hands-on, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and stakeholders
- Strong interest in automation, process optimization, and continuous improvement
- Fluent in English and German (written and spoken)
