Your prospective job:

For our international client in the aviation and space programs industry, we are looking for you as a Senior System Engineer (m/f/d) Space in Bremen. You will be working as a permanent employee, focusing on the definition and implementation of space-based data exchange between internal defence projects and external systems.

Your responsibilities:

- Verification of the external and internal systems needs, missions needs, and customer requirements
- Transfer of information and data within the system and with external systems (based on NATO standards)
- Data dissemination within the system and with external systems (e.g. ground based radars, missile defence systems, civil systems)
- Definition of architecture options for data dissemination and performance of trade studies for ground and space system elements
- Creation of a model-based system engineering approach for preferable options (software demonstrator)
- Preperation of an interface control document for the selected solution and option
- Co-working with an international team of experts and project partners

Your profile:

- A degree (Diploma or Master) in aerospace engineering, electronics, software development or equivalent qualification
- Several years of professional experience in defence and security systems engineering projects would be preferred
- Profund experience in the data exchange of active or passive missile defence systems
- Advanced skills in communication, presentation, and documentation
- Familiar with applicable standards and processes (NATO)
- Ability and willingness to achieve a German security clearance
- Know-How of model-based system engineering (MBSE)
- Very good English skills, written and spoken
