# Breakfast Assistant

## Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and versatile **Breakfast and Bar Assistant (Full-time)** to join our team. This is not a typical **waiter/waitress role**—**our assistant performs a variety of all-round duties**, including food preparation, buffet management, kitchen porter tasks, table clearance and cleaning, hosting guests, and supporting bar service. Flexibility and a willingness to cover all these areas are essential.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Prepare breakfast items**, including baking bakery products and warm food daily for the buffet in the oven
- **Refill the buffet** according to daily demand
- Assist with **kitchen porter duties** including cleaning and dishwashing
- **Clear and clean tables** promptly to maintain a tidy dining area
- Provide excellent **hosting skills** by greeting and assisting customers warmly
- Handle cash and credit card payments accurately and efficiently
- Support **bar service** including preparing drinks and maintaining cleanliness
- Open and close shifts according to operational procedures
- **Assist with inventory management** and restocking as needed
- **Maintain hygiene and safety standards** throughout your shift

## Qualifications

Whether you are a hotel professional or changing careers – you will fit in here! Because personality and hosting skills are our priority. You will also:

- Have completed an apprenticeship in the hotel trade and/or have professional experience in the hotel / catering industry or be looking for a change of career
- Be open and communicative and have hosting skills, as well as a passion for the hotel industry
- Be flexible and creative and have an excellent sense of quality, even in stressful situations
- Be a team player and willing to provide assistance across departments – we achieve our results together
