A Snapshot of Your Day 

Imagine starting your day with a warm cup of coffee in your home office, diving into emails, and engaging in a check-in meeting with your team to align on daily tasks. You will take charge of preparing and crafting insightful Power BI reports and dashboards that drive decision-making. Mornings will be spent developing new data pipelines or improving important metric dashboards for different teams spanning Europe and Africa. As the afternoon unfolds, you will focus on data cleaning, transformation, and validation, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of your insights. Plus, you’ll be gearing up to lead a training session on data tools and best practices for the business!

How You’ll Make an Impact 

* Evaluate business requirements and translate them into technical features, ensuring alignment with partner needs to drive business success.
* Engage with relevant partners to gather insights and feedback, contributing ideas and development steps to enhance and improve existing processes.
* Collaborate with other Siemens Energy communities to improve collaboration and drive continuous improvement.
* Work with multi-functional teams to capture requirements and deliver effective data solutions, including preparing data pipelines and creating comprehensive reports using Power BI.
* Interpret and analyze data to derive operational insights, providing utilization analyses to identify bottlenecks, particularly concerning available personnel and resources.
* Support strategic workforce planning through data-driven forecasts and scenario modeling, while visualizing analyzed data in modern dashboards and crafting impactful presentation slides for stakeholders.

What You Bring

* A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields.
* Extensive knowledge of statistical software, data interpretation, and predictive model development.
* Proficiency in Power BI, with familiarity in the Snowflake environment and SQL.
* Knowledge of Python, data modeling, ETL processes, data governance, data visualization, and data science.
* Business fluency in English and German.
* Strong communication skills to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders, coupled with a collaborative team attitude.

The Field Data Team supports the field service technicians in Europe and Africa with a diverse team of specialists in documentation, data management and software project managers who create the installation manuals, manage the hardware and software equipment as well as build the digital landscape for the future field service. To be closer to our onsite teams and support our regional customers, we drive for internalization and diversity.
