About Isembard

Isembard is building a network of high-performance factories for critical industries. We combine advanced machine tools, robotics and our own software, MasonOS, to make precision components for aerospace, defence, energy and frontier technology companies, with factories across the UK, US, Germany and France. Our mission is to forge industrial acceleration.

The role

Isembard has grown quickly, and we now need a sales organisation that can scale with it. The Global Sales Lead is a senior, hands-on role working directly with our CEO.

You will lead sales across the UK, US, Germany and France, sell to engineering-led customers in aerospace, defence, energy and robotics, and build the team, process and structure behind our next stage of growth.

What you'll do

• Own sales globally: strategy, targets and results.

• Lead complex enterprise deals yourself, not only through others.

• Design the sales structure across business development, closing and account management, and hire into it.

• Build pipeline discipline, forecasting and CRM practice so decisions rest on reliable data.

• Work with factory, CAM and quality teams so that what we sell, we can make on time.

What we're looking for

• Hands-on enterprise sales experience, with a record of closing complex, technical deals.

• Experience building and leading a sales team in a scaling company.

• Credibility with engineers, and comfort discussing how parts are made.

• Commercial judgement in a business with physical constraints on capacity and delivery.

• Comfort with ambiguity and building structure from scratch.

Nice to have

• A manufacturing background.

• Aerospace, defence, space or hardware sales.

• Selling across the UK, Europe and the US.
