Your Prospective Job:
For our renowned customer Airbus Defence and Space you are acting as HMI Software Integration & Verification Engineer (m/f/d) at the location Manching.

Your Responsibilities:

- Integrate the HMI subsystem with other system components on various test environments and target devices
- Ensure correct configuration and seamless end-to-end operation
- Set up, configure, and maintain test devices and environments, including software deployment, device configuration, and troubleshooting
- Analyze and resolve integration issues, coordinating with the responsible subsystem and software teams
- Define, implement, and execute tests to verify HMI functionality, system integration, and compliance with requirements
- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve automated tests and test infrastructure
- Increase test coverage, repeatability, and efficiency
- Analyze test results, investigate and document failures
- Contribute to requirements engineering by reviewing, refining and clarifying requirements, band deriving verifable test cases and acceptance criteria
- Maintain test documentation, verification evidence, and integration status
- Ensure transparent reporting of quality and project progress


Your Profile:

- Completed studies in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering or comparable
- Many years of professional experience in IT / Information Technology and Aerospace Engineering
- Experience in software integration and software/ system verification, including test design, test execution, and test automation
- Experience in military flight training devices, or military flight simulation systems is advantageous
- Strong user with Linux administration, including command-line tools, system configuration, software installation, serice management, permissions, networking, and log analysis
- Good understanding of modern software development and integration methodologies (Agile, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, testing, debugging)
- Very good user skills in Python
- Skills in automated testing frameworks (e.g. Qt Squish)and with issue tracking and test management tools (e.g. Jira, XRay) is advantageous
- Fluent German and English skills spoken and written
