As a Senior Staff Test Development Engineer, you will be at the heart of our innovation engine, working on complex test development procedures for IBC (Intermediate Bus Converter) modules. This is a unique opportunity to work in a highly interdisciplinary field, where you will collaborate with international teams to drive the development of innovative power electronics solutions.


In your new role you will:
* Define test concepts and test specifications for IBC modules in cooperation with the design and application team
* Develop innovative testing methods for high current testing and defect screening on IBC modules
* Design product specific test hardware for final test and develop test software (C#,C++,Python)
* Develop and execute complex test plans, test cases, and test scripts for IBC products, including characterization, validation, and verification of product functionality
* Analyze and troubleshoot test results, identifying and debugging issues and implementing corrective actions
* Participate in design reviews and provide input on testability and manufacturability of IBC products
* Identify and introduce improvement possibilities to realize test time and cost optimization
* Transfer test packages to our production sites
* Provide production ramp-up support and work on yield improvements/test setup optimization

You are best equipped for this task if you have:
* A university / university of applied sciences degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or comparable
* Comprehensive work experience in IBC module test within the semiconductor industry (5-10 years)
* Expertise in IBC module testing with hands on lab experience is a must
* Solid skills in analog electronic circuits and coding (C#,C++,Python)
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
* Familiarity with industry-standard test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, signal generators
* Fluent English skill, German/Italian skills or willingness to learn it as a plus

We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification.  When staffed in Austria, the employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group H (https://www.feei.at/aktuelles/mindestloehne-und-gehaelter-eei/). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
