The Mercedes-Benz Digital & Communications unit (MXDC) is responsible for the global conception, implementation and steering of all communication activities and advertising strategies of Mercedes-Benz Cars. We creatively steer our brands across all customer touchpoints and efficiently optimize communication for our customers by means of data-driven and measurable activities. We do all that with the clear goal of creating and deepening our customers’ enthusiasm and desire for the brand.

As part of our Digital Innovation, Data Factory & Communities team, you will gain hands-on experience in diverse data projects across the entire customer journey. Working in an Agile, cross-functional team environment, you will help develop analytical products and data-driven use cases that strengthen our vision: to empower a desirable, measurable, and future-ready brand presence through excellent in-house data support.

Please note that this is a mandatory or combined (mandatory and voluntary) internship. Therefore, the internship must be fully or at least partially included in the study regulations. The duration of the internship should be six months.

You will master these tasks:

Support in the design, creation, and continuous improvement of Power BI reports, ensuring data is presented in a clear and business-relevant way

Assist in building and optimizing data models and writing DAX formulas to deliver advanced KPIs for marketing and communication strategies

-
Help collect, clean, and transform data from different sources (e.g., databases, APIs, Excel, cloud applications) to ensure consistency and data quality

-
Work in an Agile/Scrum team, participate in sprint ceremonies (planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives), and document progress in collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence

Provide support in analyzing digital marketing and social media performance metrics, helping connect marketing campaigns with measurable business outcomes

Support the team in preparing presentations, documentation, and knowledge-sharing sessions to ensure insights are accessible across the business unit


The activity can begin from December 2025.


Qualifikationen

-
Currently enrolled in studies of Computer Science, Data Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, or a comparable course of study

-
Hands-on experience in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) and data analysis languages (e.g., SQL, Python)

-
Understanding of relational databases, data modeling, and SQL queries for data extraction and transformation

-
Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and collaborative tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)

-
Business fluent English language skills, German as a plus
