We, the BMW Group, offer you an interesting and varied internship where you will assist our engineers in their daily tasks. Our team, focused on concepts for passive safety, frontal protection, and restraint systems, is dedicated to enhancing vehicle crashworthiness through computational methods and finite element simulations.

What awaits you?

- You will be part of a diverse team of engineers, developers, and students.
- You support the assessment of vehicle safety performance in crashes using large language models.
- You contribute to the continuation of infrastructure work, including GPU workstation connections.
- You assist in comparing different LLM models to select the most suitable one for productive use.

What should you bring along?

- Studies in Artificial Intelligence, Computational Mechanics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Familiarity with state-of-the-art LLMs and prompting techniques is beneficial.
- Skills in artificial intelligence are advantageous.
- Experience with Python, MATLAB, or other programming languages.
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
