At our head office in Bremen, we are currently looking for an **Operations and coordination assistant** in the field of international development cooperation and humanitarian help.
movimentar GmbH is a small enterprise supporting organisations in the planning, management, monitoring, and evaluation of international development cooperation and humanitarian aid actions. We work together with UN agencies, NGOs, foundations, governments, and consultancy companies from around the world. **Tasks:**
- Support the preparation of technical and financial proposals (tender submissions).
- Coordinate communication with clients and partners (e-mail, meetings, follow-up).
- Organise folders, structure shared documents, and manage versions on Google Drive, Excel, Word.
- Schedule meetings, prepare notes, send Doodle polls, and support follow-up.
- Track deliverables and internal task lists using digital task and project management tools.
- Format reports and annexes for submission.
- Provide light administrative support (consultant onboarding, document requests, contracts).
**Requirements:**
1. Applicants must have the legal right to work in the EU (e.g., citizenship, residence permit, or valid work visa).
2. At least a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as social sciences, economics, international relations, business administration, accountancy, statistics, or related areas.
3. Excellent written and spoken English; other languages (German, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Ukrainian, Hausa) are an asset.
4. Solid experience with Microsoft Word, Excel (including formulas), Google Sheets and Docs.
5. Ability to work in a highly dynamic, knowledge-intensive setting with multiple simultaneous priorities.
6. Strong interpersonal, communication, and intercultural skills.
7. Excellent organisational skills and a self-driven, problem-solving mindset.
8. Sensitivity for working with diverse teams and topics, including politically sensitive issues; structured working style is essential. Interest in proposal writing and working in a fast-paced consultancy environment is beneficial.
**Working time**: Full-time (preferred); minimum 32 hours/week.
**Work model**: Regular presence in the Bremen office required (minimum 4 days/week). Staff are expected to manage occasional off-hour communications, while being free to disable notifications outside of their preferred hours.
