Postdoctoral Researcher (m,f,x) - Consciousness and Memory
The position is based in the Predictive Brain Department, a newly established unit within the Faculty of Psychology. Our mission is to accelerate understanding of how perception, consciousness, and memory emerge from neural circuits, and how predictive processes shape experience and behavior in real-world contexts. The department brings together an international and multicultural team of researchers (m,f,x) from psychology, medicine, computer science, physics, mathematics and biology. It is part of the Research Center One Health within the Research Alliance Ruhr, with strong national and international collaborations supported by third-party funding.
We invite applications for a postdoctoral researcher (m,f,x)to join our interdisciplinary and international team. The successful candidate (m,f,x) will conduct cutting-edge research at the interface of consciousness and memory, through a third-party funded collaboration with leading partners at the University Health Network (UHN), Canada. The successful candidate (m,f,x) will have extensive experience in cognitive neuroscience research and excellent analytical and programming skills. We offer a stimulating and friendly research environment in a leading cognitive neuroscience institution, with ample opportunities for interdisciplinary exchange.
