The work model for the role is: hybrid (\#LI-Hybrid)

## You will be mainly accountable for:

- New planning of an automated surface treatment system for vacuum interrupter components, including post-treatment
- Analysis of the current status of existing processes and systems in the area of surface treatment
- Development and implementation of optimized, validated cleaning methods and agents
- Technological support of the department, evaluation of rationalization potential and identification of innovative solutions
- Preparation of specifications for new systems and selection of suitable suppliers, as well as implementation of the projects and commissioning of the systems
- Identification, development, and implementation of environmental protection projects

## Qualifications for the role

- Completed training as a state-certified technician - specializing in electroplating technology or a degree with a focus on electrochemistry, electroplating technology, or surface technology
- In-depth knowledge of organic and inorganic chemistry, analytical chemistry, and thermodynamics
- Experience in technical electrochemistry, reaction engineering, and chemicals law
- Knowledge of plant engineering, chemical apparatus construction, and coating technology
- Experience in mechanical process engineering as well as safety and environmental technology
- Initial practical experience in the planning, implementation, and commissioning of systems in a comparable environment is an advantage
