A Snapshot of Your Day  As a Procurement Commodity Manager (f/m/d), you participate in project meetings and define procurement and supplier strategies to achieve the best possible award result in terms of cost, quality, and other project objectives. You will foster close communication with various interface departments and coordinate comprehensive internal communications, which includes summarizing the award process for internal approvals. In addition, you will engage with suppliers relevant to your material fields and actively monitor the market to identify suitable suppliers for each project. Staying informed and continuously developing your expertise through exchanges with procurement colleagues and Real Estate partners will be essential to your success in this role. How You’ll Make an Impact  * Manage the procurement of national and international construction services, technical building equipment, and engineering services based on Real Estate requirements * Create (electronic) tenders, evaluate offers, and conduct price and contract negotiations, including supplementary and claim management * Define and implement procurement strategies for your material fields while conducting market and supplier analyses to ensure a cost-efficient and timely supply in the required quality * Implement defined purchasing methods, processes, and systems in a digital procurement environment * Oversee supplier management, including qualification, selection, evaluation, and development * Plan, generate, and document savings to enhance procurement efficiency What You Bring * Degree in architecture, civil engineering or industrial engineering with a focus on construction, or a commercial education with a technical construction background * Many years of experience in project management or procurement of goods and services in the construction industry or real estate-related areas * Strong negotiation skills and a goal-oriented, proactive approach * Knowledge in project management specific to procurement as well as contract law and MS Office  * Proficiency in German and English  About the Team In our Business Functions we enable our organization to reach their targets by providing best-in class services and solutions in the areas of IT, HR, Finance, Real Estate, Strategy & Technology and more.  Who is Siemens Energy?  At Siemens Energy, we are more than just an energy technology company.
