A Snapshot of Your Day 

As Project Excellence Lead, you will collaborate closely with the Project Management Team and scheduling resources to oversee, monitor, and enhance time and resource planning activities. Your primary focus will be on scheduling projects that are designing and delivering comprehensive HVDC control and protection solutions for wind farm grid connections and interconnectors, applying our innovative transient network analysis laboratory. You will report directly to the Sub-Project Management Team and lead other scheduling resources.

How You’ll Make an Impact 

* Enhance and refine our reference plans by gathering guidelines and lessons learned from execution projects, ensuring their integration into the tender and early execution phases
* Collaborate with key partners, including the reference calculation team, to align outcomes effectively
* Lead other schedulers who assist Sub-Project Managers in establishing and optimizing project timelines and resource allocations or assist Sub-PMs directly by conducting regular reviews to assess project timeline, identify critical paths, and analyze deviations - support the management team in planning project slots and test laboratory activities globally 
* Generate reports and run the administration of internal tools effectively, championing the digitization of project management processes, provide a comprehensive dashboard on all projects to ensure transparency on project landmarks and improve overall project management, align with cost calculation, overall time schedules, and resource managers
* Conduct regular project reviews and deep dives to ensure compliance with established time schedule references and standards, support in stabilizing critical execution projects in C\&P
* Promote a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement

What You Bring

* A completed Bachelor’s degree with a technical background or technical training, along with relevant professional experience
* Initial professional experience in project management and/or project organization, ideally in complex projects - applications from early professionals or career changers are welcome
* Initial experience in the context of interfaces between engineering and manufacturing is an advantage
* Strong intercultural competence, communication, analytical, and organizational skills, along with resilience and the ability to find creative solutions for complex tasks
* Extensive knowledge of MS Project (Server), Power BI, Office 365 applications, and PM tools
* Business fluent communication in English; German language skills are preferable
