CTYS is a British owned, Hamburg based yacht interior consultancy.
Specialists in supplying household equipment for the interiors of super yachts, we are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic team member to join our busy and growing company.
You will be given full training on our ERP system, be familiarized with our vast database of suppliers, and learn about the world of yachting.
**Key Responsibilities:**
In addition to typical merchandising tasks you will:
- Prepare **client presentations, quotations and invoices** with precision and timeliness, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions and adherence to company policies.
- Procure new goods and identify suppliers, enhancing our comprehensive database by meticulously evaluating quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- **Process sales and purchase orders** accurately within the ERP system, ensuring correct product details, quantities, and pricing.
- Facilitate **communication with suppliers** to secure quotes (RFQs) and product information, negotiate terms and conditions to optimize procurement processes.
- **Track deliveries** from suppliers, follow up on delays, and resolve defects and discrepancies.
- **Coordinate with the warehouse and logistics team** to ensure timely and accurate delivery to the client.
- Provide **administrative support** such as supplier catalogue filing, document preparation, and schedule tracking.
- **Create off the shelf and custom products** in our vast items database
**Skills Required:**
**Education:** Diploma or coursework in Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
**Experience:** Minimum 1-2 years of procurement or sales experience, preferably in an ERP environment. Prior interiors or other design experience a plus but not essential.
**Fluent written and spoken English**, preferably mother tongue. Confident liaising with an international client base. German language skills are not required.
**Proficiency with ERP systems** (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar), **MS Office**.
**Soft Skills:**
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication for working with suppliers and customers.
- Highly organised and able to multi-task accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical mindset, capable of evaluating complex data and making informed decisions to optimize procurement processes.
