The Sales Manager Installed Base is responsible for the direct management of the Installed Base Sales team and collaboration with all relevant existing customers to plan, develop and implement sales strategies and initiatives. The aim is to profitably expand the business with lifecycle services, system upgrades, service contracts and supplementary solutions. The candidate is responsible for revenue, order volume and profitability in the area of Installed Base, including cross-selling and upselling with existing customers.

**In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:**

- To determine the budget and take responsibility for the revenue, booking and margin targets for the Installed Base Business.
- To coordinate the renewal and expansion of long-term service and maintenance contracts along with promoting lifecycle services, upgrades, modernizations, training, and MRO solutions.
- To develop and implement strategies and tactics for profitable growth in existing customer business.
- To work closely with account managers, service and project teams to ensure optimal customer satisfaction and successful contract closing.
- To actively support of the existing customer base, identification of new business opportunities and promotion of cross- and upselling potential.
- To lead, coach and develop the Installed Base Sales team through clear goal setting, regular feedback and promotion of talent.
- To do regular analysis of market trends, competitive activities, and customer needs to guide business development.
- To ensure high data quality and transparency through active use of CRM and forecasting tools.
- To participate in relevant customer events, trade fairs and conferences to deepen customer contacts and position the lifecycle portfolio.
- To implement and exemplify Emerson's business ethics and adhere to trade compliance processes.

**For This Role, You Will Need:**

- Completed engineering studies or comparable technical training.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in selling services, solutions or systems, ideally with a focus on Installed Base or Lifecycle Services.
- Demonstrable success in the expansion of existing customer business (service contracts, upgrades, cross-/upselling).
- Very good communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
 
**Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:**
- Experience in managing people and sales teams.
- Proficient in German and English; French is an advantage.
- Willingness to make regular business trips within the DACH region and internationally.
