Our department specializes in developing satellite communication systems for civil and military customers and serves as the overall engineering authority for SATCOMBw. As an Overarching Systems Engineer, you will be involved in the concept, design, development, and technical requirements of system upgrades and modifications of the SATCOMBw Satellite Communication System and its related program upgrades for the German armed forces. You will work collaboratively with Chief Engineers and Lead Systems Engineers of major system upgrades of both the space segment and the ground and user infrastructure. Additionally, you will oversee overall system performance, including the user segment and supervise the acceptance of major system upgrades to ensure all system requirements are met.
