This vacancy is managed on behalf of a premium client Tasks Key Responsibilities • Manage and operate complex VMware based platform environments • Plan and implement platform commissioning and infrastructure projects • Perform advanced troubleshooting root cause analysis and resolution of complex technical issues • Develop technical concepts solution designs and decision making documentation • Design and implement supporting tools automation solutions and operational workflows • Plan and manage complex IT projects including resource and supplier coordination • Develop and monitor measures to ensure service levels operational efficiency and customer satisfaction • Contribute to infrastructure strategy organizational development and service portfolio improvements • Participate in technical acquisition activities and provide technical leadership where required • Maintain accurate technical documentation and operational procedures • Support IT infrastructure projects for public sector organization Profile Required Skills and Qualifications • Masters degree Diploma or equivalent qualification with relevant professional experience • At least 7 years of overall professional experience including 5 years in IT administration • Strong hands on experience with the OMNISSA Horizon platform • Solid knowledge of VMware vSphere and VMware vCenter • Experience with VMware networking components including port groups and virtual switches • ITIL Expert certification or equivalent qualification • Mandatory SÜ security clearance or certificate as required for the assignment • Excellent analytical conceptual and problem solving abilities • Strong customer orientation and a structured systematic approach to work • Excellent communication presentation moderation and stakeholder management skills • Strong leadership teamwork and conflict resolution abilities • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications • Professional and confident communication with technical teams customers and management Preferred Skills • Experience with VMware Firewall and microsegmentation • Previous leadership or technical team management experience • Experience managing complex infrastructure projects and coordinating external suppliers • Strong presentation and stakeholder engagement skills Important Work Conditions • Five days per week on site in Cologne Germany We offer Competitive salary package with performance-based incentives Flexible working hours and hybrid/remote work options Opportunities for international projects and global exposure Professional development and continuous learning programs Career growth and internal mobility opportunities Supportive and collaborative work environment Health and wellness benefits Paid annual leave and public holidays Modern workplace with advanced tools and technologies Long-term career stability with a growing organization Additional contact details Interested?
