Your role:

As a member of the Financial Planning & Analysis team within Life Science Finance, you provide insights on key drivers of financial performance and propose solutions and actions based on the analysis conducted. This includes working in partnership across a variety of Finance teams (such as Accounting, Investor Relations, and Business Unit controlling) and with the Business to deliver excellent financial advisory. In addition, you are an integral part of the Life Science Financial Planning process, serving as a key contributor and advisor for financial decision-making across Life Science. In this capacity, you will proactively analyze, investigate, and explain key movements in our financial statements, playing an active role in the monthly and quarterly business reviews. You will examine both external and internal financial data to provide insights on drivers, trends, and the competitive environment, thereby supporting the decision-making of the Life Science Executive Team. Additionally, you will benchmark financial performance against both internal and external data and develop quantitative models to support ad-hoc analyses of our financial performance. Furthermore, you will participate in the Life Science Financial Planning Process and drive presentations for the Life Science Executive Team.

Who you are :

- Bachelor degree
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in controlling, accounting or corporate finance
- Strong business analysis and presentation skills
- Drive and passion for the Life Science Industry
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
- Self-starter with solution-driven working approach
- Expertise with Finance reporting systems (TM1, Analysis for Office) as well as advanced Excel/Powerpoint knowledge
- Fluent business communication in English
