For our team in Böblingen, we are looking for an experienced **Senior DSP & RF Signal Processing Software Engineer (m/f/x)** to contribute to the development of advanced RF signal processing solutions for semiconductor test systems. In this role, you will combine deep expertise in **digital signal processing and RF-domain algorithms** with modern **C++ software engineering**.
You will design, implement and optimize high-performance DSP software, working on complex signal analysis, detection and measurement challenges while contributing to a large-scale, performance-critical software platform.
## Your responsibilities:
- Design, develop and optimize advanced **DSP algorithms for RF applications** in modern C++ (C++17/20)
- Develop signal-processing solutions for RF signal acquisition and conditioning, filtering and spectral analysis, FFT-based processing, detection and estimation algorithms, time and frequency domain analysis, noise characterization and signal quality assessment
- Translate mathematical and signal-processing concepts into robust, maintainable and efficient software components
- Design software architectures and reusable frameworks for complex DSP applications
- Drive performance optimization with focus on latency, throughput, memory efficiency and scalability
- Apply modern object-oriented design principles and software engineering best practices in a large-scale C++ codebase
- Analyze and validate algorithm performance using simulation, measurement data and real-world RF signals
## Your profile:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics or a related technical field
- Several years of professional experience in **digital signal processing and software development**
- Strong understanding of RF and communication systems
- Deep knowledge of signal-processing concepts
- Excellent modern C++ skills (C++17/20)
- Strong object-oriented design and software architecture experience
- Experience developing complex, performance-critical software systems
- Good understanding of multithreading and concurrent programming, real-time processing concepts, memory optimization and performance tuning, software design patterns and clean architecture principles
- Experience with Linux development environments and Git
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills in interdisciplinary international teams
- Fluent English language skills, German is beneficial
