During your work as a Senior Chemist at aquila biolabs, you will i.a. - conceptualize new chemosensors and sensing methods, - prototype these chemosensors in our labs, - develop and optimize matrix formulations for chemosensors, - develop, optimize and scale manufacturing processes and QC routines for chemosensors. Your skills should include: - in-depth knowledge of organic chemistry, polymer chemistry, and surface chemistry, - practical experience with polymer synthesis, purification, and characterization, - practical experience with the development of functional materials, e.g. hydrogels, thin films, surface functionalization - practical experience with standard preparative, analytical and safety lab equipment - analytical and solution-oriented thinking and mindset, - ability to work and learn autonomously and efficiently, - ability and deep interest to work and perform research interdisciplinarily. You should hold a scientific or engineering Master’s or PhD degree, in the fields of organic and polymer chemistry.
