For this purpose, the international team of OD-OS has been working closely with physicians and clinical experts worldwide for more than 10 years. Our unique navigated laser therapy system Navilas® sets a new standard for retinal treatment.

## Your role:

You are accountable for the specification, development, maintenance, and verification of software solutions for medical devices. Your field of activity is the development of software feasibility studies, design and implementation of software solutions as well as documentation. Furthermore, your role includes system integration in cooperation with our clinical-, product design-, optics- and hardware team.

Together with the team, you will supervise the transition of our software solutions until deployment to production and beyond to our global customers and patients globally.

## **Your profile:**

- Professional experience of 5+ years
- Excellent knowledge of object-oriented programming (especially C++), software architecture, clean code and agile development.
- Experience in interfacing and communication to peripheral hardware (e.g. cameras)
- Experience in coordinating a team in a complex product environment A quality-focused way of working with attention to detail, team spirit and excellent communication skills
- In addition, expertise and knowledge of computer vision, multithreading, Linux, profiling, performance-optimization, test-driven development and scripting (e.g. Python)
- Ideally, experience working in accordance with medical regulations and documentation
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written. German proficiency is a plus
