Remote Senior Software Engineer (SpaceOps Team) M/F/X Salary: 55000 - 75000 EUR per year. At Spire we are looking for a Python engineer! Our tech stack: Ansible, Backend, Bash, Cloud, Django, ElasticSearch, Grafana, JavaScript, Linux, Network, Prometheus, Python, React, Redis, Terraform, TypeScript, Web. Requirements: We expect candidates to have experience implementing systems using Python, including integration with a diverse set of data stores and cloud services. You will need to interface with the satellite operations and ground station teams to adapt user needs into system requirements and possess experience in collaborating and iterating on the resultant projects. A minimum of 3 years of professional experience writing web backends is required. Familiarity with Linux, including Bash scripting and basic system administration, is essential. You should also have familiarity with Javascript development and at least one Javascript framework. Proficiency in using and developing containers for development and production environments is necessary.

Strong candidates will also possess skills in one or more of the following areas:
- 5 years of experience with system and web application development using Python
- Familiarity with data backends like S3, RDS, Postgres, Redis, and Elasticsearch
- Experience with Django
- Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible
- Familiarity with Python data visualization libraries
- Experience with Typescript and React
- Experience implementing monitoring and alerting systems using platforms like Grafana, Prometheus, or Nagios. Your responsibilities are: As a Space Operations Software Engineer, you will work with a small team in an agile environment. Your work will focus on systems and tools that enhance the efficiency of our satellite fleet. Specific tasks include:
- Building applications for visualizing and analyzing satellite telemetry
- Developing applications for monitoring ground station and satellite status, as well as controlling satellite operations
