Your role
Key responsibilities in your new role


- Develop package layouts for laminate-based Power Products (Chip Embedding) and PCB module designs, ensuring high performance and cost efficiency- Collaborate closely with Package Concept Engineering, Product Design & Development, and Simulation teams to create optimized packaging solutions- Drive Design for Manufacturability (DfM) principles throughout the package layout development process- Conduct technical alignment and design reviews with external manufacturing partners and OSATs, supporting successful layout releases- Contribute to innovations in layout automation, generation, and validation as part of Infineon's global layout community- Evaluate and implement advanced layout concepts to enhance reliability, manufacturability, and product performance


Your profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed


- A **Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics**, or a comparable technical discipline- At least **5 years of professional experience in power semiconductor products** and **PCB/package layout development**- Strong hands-on expertise with **CAD tools and layout environments**, such as **AutoCAD, Cadence, and K-Layout**- Solid understanding of **laminate materials, PCB technologies**, and manufacturing processes- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in **cross-functional and international project teams** as well as with external partners- **Fluent English communication skills** are required; **German** language skills are **beneficial**
