About the Role
We are seeking experienced Set and Production Design Experts to review set designs, production concepts, and creative briefs for film, television, theatre, events, commercials, and photography.
You will assess how well a design supports the story, fits the available space, works for the camera, and aligns with production requirements. Your professional judgment and written explanations will contribute to training and evaluating next-generation AI systems.
This opportunity is suited to production designers, set designers, art directors, and set decorators with hands-on experience in real productions. Prior AI experience is not required; relevant industry expertise and clear written English are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Review set designs, room setups, and production concepts to determine which best meets a script, brief, or budget.
Evaluate scale, layout, sightlines, color, materials, and how the space functions for actors and camera.
Identify practical production issues, such as sets that do not accommodate required shots, materials that appear unrealistic on camera, or elements that are inconsistent with the intended period.
Assess whether a design supports the story and setting while remaining within budget.
Provide concise written explanations for design assessments so reviewers can follow your reasoning.
Required Qualifications
Professional experience as a Production Designer, Set Designer, Art Director, Set Decorator, Assistant Art Director, Theatre Designer, or in a similar role.
Experience working on real productions involving scripts or briefs, budgets, set builds, shoot or installation days, and collaboration with other departments.
