As a fullstack engineer in our team, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to the Transactions Web experience domain, delivering customer and business value across cart checkout, orders, and returns premises. Our domain presents significant challenges due to the breadth of delivery options, address options, carrier options, payment types (buy now, pay later, installments, etc.), loyalty options, multiple checkout experiences, and return options. We have a wealth of ideas to improve and change-the-game in the domain, along with numerous challenges to overcome. If you thrive on engineering challenges, you'll find this role fulfilling. What you build and put into production will impact our 50+ million customers instantly – including yourself – generating more than 10 billion Euros in sales across 23 markets in Europe. WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE IS NEEDED

Take ownership of designing, developing, deploying, and operating end-to-end customer-facing solutions.
Integrate our frontend and backend (backend-for-frontend) services, while monitoring, testing, and continuously optimizing.
Develop systems for new concepts and improve our architecture in a complex domain.
Work in a cross-functional team with developers, designers, product managers, and product analysts, while collaborating with & contributing to several platform teams.
Proactively mentor, share knowledge, and learn from your peers.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Significant experience with JavaScript, NodeJS, ReactJS, or respective frameworks (e.g., Angular/Angular2, Ember, or Vue). Experience with ES6/7, TypeScript, or Redux is a plus. Familiarity with Functional Programming and OOP is ideal.
Backend development experience is highly preferred, with a preferrable focus on NodeJS.
Awareness of user experience and the ability to build user-friendly web applications, potentially with a design system.
Proficiency in writing well-tested and reusable code.
Operational expertise and knowledge of SRE practices are a plus.
