Tasks Solution Engineer – BESS Location: Frankfurt am Main, Germany Employment Type: Full-time Experience Required: 1+ years Key Responsibilities Collect, analyze, and clarify technical requirements for BESS projects. Develop suitable BESS solutions based on customer and project requirements. Perform system design, equipment selection, and technical parameter definition. Support technical quotations, tenders, proposals, and bid documentation. Lead and support technical discussions and clarification meetings with customers, partners, and internal teams. Present technical solutions and provide technical support during commercial discussions. Identify technical risks during product development and project execution. Coordinate with R&D, Project Management, Quality, Production, and other functions to resolve technical issues. Support product and system testing, production, certification, and technical validation. Prepare and review technical specifications, technical agreements, system solution documents, and other project-related documentation. Support customer meetings, site visits, and project activities within Germany and German-speaking regions. Travel to HyperStrong headquarters or manufacturing facilities in China on a short-term basis when required for customer visits, technical discussions, or product and factory presentations. Profile Education Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Power Systems, High-Voltage Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, or a related technical discipline. Professional Experience Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, power systems, renewable energy, BESS, or technical solution engineering. Experience with BESS, PCS, EMS, transformers, power distribution systems, or renewable energy projects is preferred. Experience with international BESS projects or the European energy market is an advantage. Technical Skills Good understanding of renewable energy systems, BESS, and/or electrical power distribution systems. Experience in BESS solution design, system integration, or technical support. Knowledge of communication protocols such as CAN, RS-485, and TCP/IP. Ability to analyze customer requirements, tender documents, and technical specifications and translate them into practical technical solutions. Good technical documentation and solution presentation skills. Language Requirements Fluent English, both written and spoken, with the ability to use English as the primary working language. Competencies Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Proactive, responsible, and able to work independently. Strong team player with the ability to work effectively in an international and multicultural environment. Willingness to travel on a short-term basis within Germany and German-speaking regions.
