**Vice President Strategy (all genders)**

As Vice President Strategy, you shape the division’s strategic agenda, translate it into measurable implementation priorities, and help drive the scalable rollout of AI across functions, product teams, and customer-facing teams. **YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**


- You shape and continuously evolve the long-term strategy for Bayer Pharmaceuticals, reflecting external trends, customer needs, portfolio priorities, competitive dynamics, and enterprise ambitions
- You lead strategic planning processes, translating strategic choices into clear priorities, roadmaps, milestones, governance, and performance measures
- You develop actionable strategic narratives and recommendations to enable senior leadership decision-making
- You identify strategic opportunities, risks, and trade-offs, and facilitate timely decisions across the division
- You ensure coherent linkage between divisional strategy, operating model, portfolio choices, resource allocation, and execution plans (end-to-end thinking)
- You own and drive high-priority, cross-functional strategic initiatives from definition through implementation and measurable impact
- You partner with functional leaders to remove barriers, manage interdependencies, monitor performance, and lead corrective actions where needed
- You support the division AI agenda, ensuring adoption, value realization, and responsible embedding of AI into business processes, decision-making, and customer value creation


**WHO YOU ARE**


- You bring significant senior leadership experience in strategy, transformation, consulting, innovation, digital, data, AI, or related business leadership roles
- You have demonstrated experience shaping enterprise or divisional strategy and converting it into practical implementation plans with measurable outcomes
- You possess a strong understanding of AI and emerging technologies, with experience translating these capabilities into business value
- You have a proven track record leading large, cross-functional strategic initiatives in complex, international environments
- You bring experience in the pharmaceutical, life sciences, healthcare, or other highly regulated industries, which is strongly preferred
- You demonstrate exceptional executive presence, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills across functions and geographies
- You have strong strategic problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear choices and recommendations
- You are a purpose-driven, collaborative, inclusive, and resilient leader with a bias toward action and measurable impact
