What you´ll build


- Technical realization of new Machine Translation features - You will contribute to the development and implementation of new features for our Machine Translation systems, working closely with the team
- Implementation of Training Infrastructure - You will support the setup and maintenance of scalable training infrastructure, helping to streamline model training pipelines and improve overall efficiency
- Identify and resolve software bugs - You will actively participate in debugging and troubleshooting our software systems, analyzing root causes and implementing sustainable fixes to ensure high code quality


What you bring


- Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
- Preferred fields of study: Computer Science or related areas
- Having the following computer skills: Java, Sprint boot. Experience with observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus) is a plus.
- Motivation to quickly learn new technologies and topics
- Previous work experience that included software development tasks is highly beneficial
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, German as a plus


Where you belong


The Machine Translation (MT) team at SAP’s Language Experience Lab develops and operates various components related to machine translation and evaluation of machine translation quality.
We are looking for a highly motivated working student (f/m/d) for various implementation tasks. You’ll be working as part of the MT team on well-defined projects and tasks.


Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
