## Who are we

Sustainability is at our hearts and we want to be part of the journey towards clean aviation. We are innovation-driven and foster improvements together with our network. We are preparing the future of airframe engineering by creating the link between Research and Technology (R&T) projects & serial programs, delivering pre-study developments and working towards the Airbus vision of sustainable aviation! Our strategy is to act as ambassadors for new technologies (H2 (hydrogen), 3D printing /Rapid Prototyping, Bionics, ...), create business value for serial programs by integration of R&T technology bricks, set the Airframe Structure footprint in R&T projects and prepare the Structure Community to develop future aircraft programs.

You will focus on innovation management and describe how the as-is situation and how the to-be situation is. You will compare both situations and define together with the team potential actions. In addition you will support the Innovation dynamic project team and project leader.
## Definition working student
Working students are students who are enrolled at a University or some other institution of higher education, and who are employed in a reasonably long, fixed-term position parallel to their studies. This position must not be confused with an internship or with the possibility of writing a final thesis.
This employment usually takes place directly on the company's premises. A working student's main focus remains on their studies, which is why, during term-time, working students are not allowed to work more than 20 hours per week.
Working students therefore usually work near their place of study, so as to conveniently combine studying and employment.
## Your location
You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Experience the special flair of Hamburg in your spare time where vibrant cosmopolitan culture meets nautic legacy.
## Finkenwerder
Are you wondering how you actually get from university to Airbus? Your working student position is at the Finkenwerder plant and you can take the ferry from Teufelsbrück to the Airbus ferry terminal and back to the university in the morning and at noon. Alternatively, you can take the ferry to Finkenwerder and then ride your bike for about another 15 minutes to the main entrance.
