Die Stelle ist befristet für die Dauer von drei Jahren.This position in the Computer Security and Privacy group led by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Delphine Reinhardt offers an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual to pursue a doctoral degree in an interdisciplinary research environment.

Your profile

A very good M.Sc. degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, robotics, or a closely related discipline,
Strong programming and software development skills, ideally with experience in multi-agent frameworks or distributed systems,
Experience in designing and conducting simulations and experiments, including empirical evaluation of agent behaviors and system performance.
Solid background in one or more of the following areas: privacy and security, multi-agent coordination, machine learning, distributed systems, human–AI collaboration, or interactive system design,
Ability to conduct independent scientific research, along with strong commitment, team orientation, and communication skills,
A very good command of both English and German,
Strong interest in pursuing a doctoral degree and contributing to high-impact research.


Your main responsibilities


Conduct independent research on privacy in multi-agent systems, focusing, for example, on identifying emerging privacy threats, designing novel privacy-preserving mechanisms for agent communication and collaboration, or developing human-centered approaches to ensure trustworthy multi-agent interactions,
Publishing and presenting the obtained scientific results in international peer-reviewed conferences and/or journals,
Supervising student assistants and student projects in this area,
Active support in teaching activities according to §31 NHG and examinations.
