**Account Executive (New Business Sales) – P&R (Manufacturing/Logistics/Retail/Consumer Goods/Energy & Utilities) (d/f/m)**
**Role Summary:**
Reporting to the EMEA Chief Commercial Officer, Cognizant is looking for an experienced “Account Executive” to join their new business sales team.
As a new business Account Executive, you are an enterprise sales professional experienced in selling to and opening new logo accounts
Selling the full suite of Cognizant’s services and solutions, including market leading capabilities in Digital, Data, AI, and Cloud, etc, you know how to create value and drive business outcomes. This role will have responsibility for pursuing 10-15 targeted Accounts. Accounts will typically be oriented geographically to location but may include marquee accounts outside of Germany. The Account Executive will work with a Client Partner and team that will support all sales pursuits and an offshore team will provide targeted marketing into designated accounts.
**Required Experience:**
· Demonstrable track record in new business / net new logo sales for a large Tier 1 or Tier 2 GSI
· Experience of working alongside and building relationships within P&R (Manufacturing/Logistics/Retail/Consumer Goods/ Energy & Utilities)**** sector and corresponding ISV’s
· Experience of working for a Global Services Firm with onshore, nearshore and offshore capabilities.
· Knowledge and experience selling similar Services including Digital, Data, Cloud, Consulting and Application Modernization
· Demonstrable success selling deals in the $5 to $50M range.
· Demonstrable consecutive quarterly and yearly quota achievement in complex selling environments utilizing a solution selling model.
