What you'll do

- New customer acquisition: Identifying and targeting potential business customers in the B2B and enterprise environment through market research, networking, and proactive cold calling.
- Ownership: Independent management of the entire sales process—from initial contact to the successful completion of complex sales cycles.
- Relationship management: Building a stable customer portfolio and maintaining and expanding long-term customer relationships.
- Consulting & solution expertise: You know our solutions in detail and provide comprehensive advice to companies by analyzing their processes and challenges and creating tailor-made solution concepts to increase efficiency.
- Potential analysis: Identifying and exploiting cross-selling and upselling opportunities within existing customer relationships.
- Customer presentation: Developing compelling offers and creating and delivering professional presentations that clearly highlight the added value of our solutions.
- Teamwork: Working closely with internal interfaces such as product management, BI consulting, marketing, and support to provide optimal customer service.
- Market presence: Representing retarus at trade fairs, industry events, and conferences to actively expand your network.
What you'll need
--------------------------------------
- A completed commercial apprenticeship or degree in economics, sales, or a similar field—career changers with a strong sales drive are also very welcome.
- Experience in new customer acquisition, ideally in a B2B or SaaS environment—particularly in the field of email security is an advantage.
- A high degree of initiative, personal responsibility, and enjoyment in proactively moving things forward.
- A willingness to learn and openness to feedback – together with our development-friendly environment, this forms the ideal basis for your personal and professional development.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as a confident, professional manner when dealing with decision-makers on the customer side.
- A goal-oriented and structured approach to work – you manage sales processes independently, efficiently, and with an entrepreneurial mindset.
