-*WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT*-
Due to the strategic realignment of the Coatings business unit, a dedicated
Legal, Compliance & Insurance department is being established. This
presents an exciting opportunity to develop and shape the Legal, Compliance
& Insurance organization from its foundation.
· In your new role, you introduce, develop and implement the global
insurance program and strategy for the Coatings division, ensuring
alignment with corporate objectives and optimization of insurance
structures.
· You advise internal stakeholders on insurance-related matters and
provide strategic insurance guidance to senior management and the General
Counsel to support decision-making and optimize the company's global
insurance coverage.
· Furthermore, you coordinate and maintain relationships with insurers and
brokers, and lead the selection of suitable partners.
· You manage policies, certificates of insurance and proofs of coverage,
ensuring their availability within relevant business processes.
· Additionally, you support global claims handling and oversee claim
settlement processes in coordination with the involved business units.
· Lastly, you also review invoices from insurers and brokers, manage
payment processes in collaboration with the responsible departments,
monitor regulatory developments and assist in adapting insurance solutions
if required.
-*WHAT YOU OFFER*-
· university degree in law, business administration, or a similar degree,
with a focus on insurance
· at least 10 years of professional experience in managing global
insurance programs in a multinational company, insurance company or broker
and working within risk management processes
· in-depth knowledge of global insurance programs for multinational
companies is essential
· strong expertise in international insurance requirements and regulatory
frameworks
· ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external
stakeholders is key to success in this role
· excellent communication skills in English and German, combined with
analytical and negotiation skills, additional languages are a plus
