We are looking for a reliable, hands-on individual to lead our Hygiene & Cleanroom Cleaning team and help maintain a safe and compliant GMP environment.
This position is ideal for candidates with practical experience in cleanroom operations or hygiene-controlled environments who are ready to take ownership of a GMP-relevant function and lead a small operational team with confidence. This permanent position is available immediately at our location in Heidelberg.
Lead and coordinate the cleanroom cleaning team
Act as the site’s Hygiene Responsible Person
Ensure correct gowning and hygienic behavior, conduct training for new and existing employees
Coordinate cleanroom garments and clothing supply
Support the preparation of hygiene-related reports and routine documentation
Perform routine facility walks, including coordination with external partners (e.g., pest control)
Ensure compliance with GMP, hygiene requirements, and safety regulations in daily operations
Support deviation handling, change controls, and CAPA follow-up
Contribute to budget planning and efficient use of materials and resources
Solid practical background in cleanroom operations, hygiene management, or other GMP-adjacent roles
Proven ability to follow and enforce hygiene standards, gowning rules, and contamination control measures
Familiarity with GMP concepts, documentation practices, and quality expectations, or readiness to quickly adopt these
Leadership experience in operational teams (cleaning, facility, production, logistics) is a strong advantage
Reliable, structured working style with a strong sense of quality
Ability to communicate clearly and guide a small operational team
Good English skills
