To complement our regulatory scientific team, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Scientific Expert in Toxicology with a focus on regulatory affairs for plant protection products and biocides.
Scientific Expert in Human Toxicology and Regulatory Affairs Manager for Biocides (m/f/d)
(part- or full-time/40 h)
Scientific evaluation of human toxicology data for biocides and biological and conventional plant protection products
Preparation of the human health section of registration dossiers, including follow-up during dossier evaluation and defence
Support in the assessment of human toxicological data packages; experience with biological plant protection products would be an asset
Identification of data gaps and development of proposals for additional studies or trials
Conducting human health risk assessments for biocides and plant protection products
Development of testing strategies and monitoring of ongoing studies
Coordination and management of registration projects in accordance with the Biocidal Products Regulation (EU) No 528/2012 and/or relevant national guidance
Regular communication with clients, contract research organisations (CROs), and regulatory authorities
Collaboration within an interdisciplinary team of scientific experts, working closely with a lead project manager
A university degree in (bio-)chemistry, biotechnology, agricultural science, biology or a related discipline
At least 3 years of professional experience in toxicological evaluation within a regulatory context
Sound knowledge of the EU regulatory framework for biocides and plant protection products
Experience in endocrine disruption assessments in toxicology would be an asset
High level of self-motivation, reliability, and strong time management skills
Ability to work independently within your area of expertise while contributing effectively to an interdisciplinary team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; German language skills would be an advantage
Proficiency in standard MS Office application
