* Ensuring daily operations within the team align with departmental objectives and agreed-upon actions
* Maintaining team effectiveness and smooth operations by providing expertise, technical, and process leadership
* Taking a hands-on approach to daily operations, ensuring tasks are completed
* Managing and developing a smaller or less complex international team in their line of leadership
* Assisting in managing and maintaining accurate financial records across all entities, and providing services for the Austrian entity
* Supporting the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
* Assisting in the preparation of financial documents for international audits and regulatory reviews
* Ensuring adherence to all relevant financial regulations and internal controls
Your profile ideally illustrates
* Educational background in accounting, finance, or related fields
* Proven record of experience in a comparable position, preferably in an international environment
* Strong leadership, organisational and interpersonal skills
* Strong understanding of the NGO sector and its operating environment
* Fluency in English and German
* Passion for animal welfare and FOUR PAWS' vision and mission
