Your prospective job:
You are acting as a Buyer Customer Service Aerostructure Procurement (m/f/d) for our client Airbus Operations in Hamburg-Finkenwerder.

Your responsibilities:

- Execute daily RFQs for spare parts and services to guarantee competitive pricing and rapid response
- Define and implement category-specific purchasing strategies for aerostructure customer service
- Lead sourcing activities including Calls for Tender (CFTs), market scouting, negotiation, supplier selection, and contracting
- Manage contract lifecycle, ensuring compliance, risk mitigation, and trans-national coordination
- Oversee supplier performance, optimize customer value, and minimize total cost of ownership (TCO)
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Program teams
- Support strategic supplier development to ensure capacity and technological maturity
- Handle claim management related to contractual deviations, quality issues, or delivery delays
- Initiate and implement cost-saving and value creation initiatives in cooperation with technical teams

Your profile:

- Completed studies in industrial engineering, business administration, supply chain/logistics or comparable
- Work experience in the areas of purchasing, contract management, and commercial administration
- Experience in project management and process improvement
- Confident handling of SAP and Google Workspace
- Fluent English and advanced German, both spoken and written
