A Snapshot of Your Day 

In this role, the Buyer ensures the efficient execution of operational purchasing activities to support daily business operations. The focus lies on securing goods, materials, and services in line with agreed requirements for price, quality, and on-time delivery while ensuring continuity of supply. Incoming purchase requests from internal customers are processed with a strong focus on defined cycle times, quality standards, and high customer and user satisfaction.

How You’ll Make an Impact 

* End-to-end responsibility for purchase order creation, release, tracking, and expediting to ensure a cost-efficient and demand-driven material supply
* Responsibility for on-time delivery performance, including proactive risk identification, escalation, and mitigation of supply, delivery, and quality issues
* Ownership of supplier communication related to orders, delivery commitments, performance topics, and low-threshold commercial negotiations
* Monitoring, evaluation, and follow-up of supplier delivery and quality performance, including structured escalation to internal stakeholders
* Responsibility for the accuracy, maintenance, and transparency of supplier master data in relevant systems
* Contribution to continuous improvement and optimization of purchasing and ordering processes (e.g. MoQ optimization, order bundling)

What You Bring

* Completed Bachelor’s degree in a technical and/or commercial field, combined with initial practical experience in procurement
* Advanced proficiency in English and expert-level proficiency in German
* Intercultural mindset with the ability to adapt to country-specific requirements and cultural particularities
* Structured and quality-oriented working approach combined with a strong customer focus
* Professional communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
