Randstad Professional is one of Randstad's four specializations
and focuses on the placement of specialists and managers in the
future-oriented sectors of IT, Engineering, Life Science and Office.
Install and support medical equipment for the Abbott Medical product
line (e.g. cardiac mapping, electrophysiology and related products)
and ensure service agreements and warranty obligations are fulfilled.
The reporting line is to Central Europe Service Organization
- Install Abbott Medical devices at hospital throughout Germany
- Perform yearly preventative maintenance on Abbott Medical devices
- Perform repairs, exchanges, software and hardware updates on Abbott
Medical devices or systems.
- Complete field service documentation/records and
communicate/disperse service information to the proper departments.
- Able to work independently and can make decisions based on the
environment
- Extensive travel required throughout Germany, sometimes with short
notice
- Bachelor degree in electronics, engineering or equivalent technical
qualification.
- KMinimum of 2 years medical electronics service or related field
service.
- Strong communication skills: verbal and written.
- Strong German and intermediate English is required.
- Strong electronic and mechanical skills including troubleshooting.
- Computer skills: MSOffice, Linux
- Requires occasional lifting of products and material related to
installation of the systems.
- Familiarity with hospitals and or Cathlabs and operating room
procedures and protocol would be a plus.
- Experience with medical devices and software based medical systems
would be a plus.
- Natural abilities (team player, stress resistant, discretion, good
communicator, etc.)
- Ability to be flexible and respond to situations at short notice.
- Able to work independently in a fast environment with little
supervision.
