## Job Description

- Lead and / or support of construction projects representing Continental Tires as the construction owner and ensuring project requirements with respect to timing, budget and quality
- Manage construction projects in cooperation with appointed specialists from land acquisition over building design and realization of construction until handover of the production facility
- Ensure the actual reporting for construction projects (timing, budget, quality)
- Create, develop and implement Building & Construction Standards 
- Preparation of technical specifications, evaluation of offers and participation in technical & commercial negotiations with designers, general contractors and suppliers 
- Working on strategic civil engineering fields to improve established processes and guidelines to meet future demands
- Check and evaluation of capital requests for buildings & constructions at Continental Tires locations 

## Qualifications

- Bachelor, Master or Diploma degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or equivalent
- Several years of professional experience in construction environment with basic knowledge in civil, structural and architectural engineering
- Basic knowledge of tire manufacturing desirable
- Extensive knowledge in project management, preferably in industrial construction projects
- Good knowledge of MS Office programs and CAD/BIM softwares
- Fluent English skills required
- Distinctive ability to work in a team and intercultural competencies
- Willingness to travel for worldwide construction projects
