As part of the dynamic Siemens Energy Commercial Project Management team, you will support the commercial project manager to make important decisions every day, helping the project as well as the customer to reach their goals - energizing the world by implementing our innovative solutions and products within the project calculated budgets. Being an important part of the Commercial Project Management Team, learning and evolving every day, growing into more and more sophisticated tasks. 

How You’ll Make an Impact 

* Ensure accurate project bookkeeping in compliance with Siemens-Energy guidelines, utilizing systems like SAP, and oversees Project Reporting and Controlling activities.
* Support Senior Project Manager, Senior Commercial Manager, and global project team in managing financial results, optimizing project gross profit, cash flow, and assets
* Take responsibility for identifying, evaluating, and addressing commercial risks and opportunities, including negotiating contracts and handling relevant commercial issues
* Manage commercial aspects based on the chosen business model, including tax concepts, insurance, compliance, ECC (customs), cash flow, and contract documents.
* Handle Technical Field Assistance (TFA) Contracts, temporary hiring contracts, and support claim negotiations in alignment with the global project team
* Plan, report, and control using tools like Dash, PMTX, providing financial forecasts 
* Manage suppliers, approve subcontractors' invoices, and oversee goods receipt processes

What You Bring

* Commercial Apprenticeship with job experience in Business Finance, or Accounting with a strong foundation in standard accounting principles or Bachelor's degree with first job experience in Business Finance, or Accounting
* Demonstrate extensive experience in a Commercial Project Management and/or contract/claim management, with the added advantage of holding a commercial certification
* Exhibit proficiency in utilizing IT tools, including Microsoft, SAP applications
* Must be fluent in both English and German
* Display a positive attitude towards working in challenging environments and embracing a high-performance culture

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.

The Commercial Project team is responsible for the first-class execution and successful implementation of complex projects within Siemens Energy. We create and use alignments and highly qualified competencies across all business areas to realize projects as One Siemens Energy. With a strong focus on digitization and productivity, we deliver projects on time and within budget while driving standards for Project Excellence, Best Practices and Lessons Learned across the organization.
