## We offer:

- An inclusive and interdisciplinary working environment: Leibniz IPHT is located on the Beutenberg Campus in Jena and brings together more than 450 employees from around the world who work at the intersection of physics, biochemistry, technology, data science, and medicine to develop the photonic technologies of tomorrow.
- A job with purpose: Our scientists work on light-based solutions to address pressing societal challenges: improving diagnostics and therapies for life-threatening diseases such as cancer and Alzheimer’s, detecting drug residues in water, ensuring food safety, and developing alternative energy sources—solutions with light for health, environment, medicine, and security.
- An open and welcoming culture: You will find a creative, professional team and a friendly working atmosphere within a modern, open-minded organizational culture.
- An engaging field of work with opportunities to experience research firsthand—whether in a cleanroom, a fiber drawing tower, or a laser laboratory.
- Flexible working hours, 30 days of paid vacation per year, annual bonus payments, and additional benefits.
- A family-friendly working environment with support services to help balance work and family life (e.g., parent–child rooms, on-campus childcare places, and counseling services for family caregiving situations).
