Join our Capital Markets Compliance team, part of the Group Compliance division, and play a key role in managing investor protection and market conduct rules (MiFID2, WAG 2018, MiCAR), as well as preventing and detecting market abuse (MAR, BörseG 2018).

Your mission at RBI:

* Analyze regulatory requirements on investor protection and market conduct and develop comprehensive implementation approaches with an end-to-end view to ensure regulatory compliance
* Provide practical guidance to business units on applicable RBI policies and regulatory requirements on investor protection and market conduct
* Monitor compliance with investor protection and market conduct rules, including best execution, product governance, conflicts of interest, and inducements, etc.
* Perform market abuse prevention controls in RBI Compliance systems (e.g. market abuse alert handling) and ensure unusual or suspicious transactions are properly identified, documented, and reported
* Support the development and delivery of compliance training programs
* Design, develop and review compliance processes in line with evolving market standards, integrating them into Compliance IT systems using the latest technologies

 

Your core competencies:

* University degree in law, economics or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in the financial industry
* Prior experience in compliance, consultancy, or at a financial market regulator is an advantage
* Demonstrated interest in financial markets and a working knowledge of financial instruments
* Curiosity about process design, with experience or aptitude for automation and efficiency improvements
* Collaborative, flexible and resilient, with effective problem-solving skills
* Professional proficiency in English; knowledge of German and languages from CEE/SEE is an advantage
