HEICO Aircraft Maintenance focuses on developing repair technologies on aircraft components, based in Leipzig. As an EASA and FAA Part-145 approved maintenance organization we are able to offer flexible and mobile repair solutions to Airlines and the MRO industry.
To continue our dynamic growth we are looking for you as a **Composite Repair Technician (m/f/d).**
### Your Tasks:
- Detecting damage on GFK/CFK aircraft components and determining the proper repair technologies and repair materials required
- Using manufacturers’ specifications, relevant repair documentation, work orders and drawings with confidence und efficiency
- Confidently performing repair work on aircraft GFK and CFK components, using standard practice methods (sanding, laminating, vacuum bagging, curing, painting, polishing)
- Inspection of the work performed
- Creating the required technical documentation of all repair work performed
- Care and maintenance of tools
### Your Skills
- Completed education as structural mechanic, composite technician; or similar, preferably with aviation experience
- Ideally first professional experience in performing aviation-related composite repair work in accordance with SRM or CMM
- High quality awareness and forward-looking
- Ability to manage projects and to meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
- Good spoken and written English communication skills (technical English)
- EU work permit is required
- Driver’s licence class B
