## Director Process Technologies – Pleating (f/m/d)

## Responsibilities
- You lead the global development and optimization of Pleating technologies, ensuring efficient, lean and quality- as well as HSE-compliant production processes.
- You drive international process development projects, standardization, engineering changes, and global rollouts.
- You shape the Technology Roadmap, manage CAPEX, select and qualify suppliers, and implement cutting-edge manufacturing solutions.
- You provide leadership to local process engineers, developing technical expertise and fostering talent worldwide.
- You coordinate the global Subject Matter Expert Platform, promoting knowledge exchange and best practices.
- You support plants with operational challenges and efficiency initiatives, including digitalization and smart automation.
- You identify, evaluate, and implement innovative technologies to maintain Freudenberg's technological edge.

## Qualifications
- University degree in Mechanical, Process, Textile Engineering or comparable; technical apprenticeship is a plus.
- Strong hands-on experience in Pleating technologies with a track record of leading international projects.
- Practical operations experience in filter components or comparable manufacturing environments.
- Profound technical expertise, ability to create requirement specifications, and structured project management skills.
- Experience in digitalization, Industry 4.0, or AI.
- Hands-on, results-oriented, and pragmatic with deep awareness of quality and HSE requirements to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Excellent intercultural communication skills in English to work with international, cross-functional teams, and willingness to travel and work abroad.
