Our Kinzigstraße daycare center not only works inclusively, but also bilingually according to the immersion concept. Here, children experience both languages as a natural part of everyday life. Our multi-professional team (16 employees) guide and support 50 children in their individual development in German and English. Our educational approach is child-centered and focuses on the development of personal qualities and skills.

In your daily work as an Early Childhood Educator, you will have the opportunity to help developing the concept, creatively implement your own pedagogical focus and learn with and from each other as part of the team.

**The position**

- **Working hours**: 30 to 35 hours per week during opening hours (7.45 bis 17.00 Uhr)
- **Salary**: TV-L-oriented

**Your profile:**

- You possess relevant education in the pedagogical field, preferably with a NVQ level 2 / 3 in Early Childhood Education or a university degree (B.A. Early Childhood Education/ B.A. Social Work etc.)
- If you have a **foreign degree**, it should **already** be **officially recognised by the Berlin Senate**. Preferably, you should be able to work as ‘Fachkraft’. It’s also possible to be recognised as Quereinsteiger ‘Verwandte Berufsgruppen’/‘Sonstige geeignete Person’/‘Native Speaker’
- You possess English (native speaker level or at least C1) as well as German language skills language (B2 level or higher, certified)
- You have a keen interest in and / or practical experience in the field of Special Needs Education / Inclusive Work
- You describe yourself as a self-initiative, creative person and contributional team member
