The Institute for Metallic Materials offers within the working group Acoustic Microsystems within the SAWLab Saxony of the IFW Dresden a position for an
**Engineer or Scientist (m/f/div)**
in the technology-transfer related field of non-invasive liquid mixing for technical applications starting earliest at 01.06.2026 in full-time, limited to min. 20 months. Part-time work is also possible.
**Main tasks and profile:**
As a successful candidate (m/f/d) you should have a Master/ Diplom or PhD in Material Science, Process Engineering, Microsystems Technology or in a related field. You have hands-on experience in 2D/3D CAD and prototyping techniques. Experiences working with microsystems/ chip fabrication, acoustofluidic/ microfluidic systems and/ or radio-frequency experimental setups are beneficial. Very good written and spoken English and a distinctive ability and enthusiasm to work in an international, interdisciplinary team complete your profile.
