You are an experienced software manager with a strong grasp of physics and hardware? Join us and become part of our Broadband and Photonic software product development team, belonging to the Keysight Communications Solutions Group. In this position, you will get the opportunity to work with a highly motivated team to develop software for our best-in-class test systems.
**Responsibilities**
- Manage the software product lifecycle from concept to release, including scope, schedule, resource, budget, and risk management, and communicate plans and results to management
- Align with product planning, the hardware development team, marketing, order fulfilment, and other organisations to drive successful new product introductions
- Lead a team of software engineers and support them in meeting their business and development goals
- Identify and harness leverage potential across products and platforms
- Ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or another relevant subject
- 5+ years experience in commercial software engineering
- Strong communication skills and leadership experience
- Experience in managing software projects in a commercial environment and sound knowledge of project management methodologies, especially Agile methods
- Strong grasp of physics, preferably around digital or optical communication systems
- Pro-active, strategic, and growth mindset, ready to hold themselves and others accountable
- Fluent English
Desired Qualifications:
- Practical experience in writing C/C++ and C# code
- Experience in code modernization
- German language skills
