Expert Algorithm Engineer, Vehicle Control

Your tasks:
- Design, develop, and deploy software solutions for company's Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) with a primary focus on vehicle control algorithms for low-speed and high-speed maneuvers, including auto-parking applications
- Develop and implement precise vehicle control algorithms that ensure optimal performance, safety, and comfort during dynamic driving scenarios
- Apply advanced knowledge of vehicle dynamics to refine and optimize control strategies for various driving conditions, including urban environments, highways, and complex parking situations
- Translate automotive industry requirements and customer needs into robust and practical vehicle control solutions
- Work closely with the behavior and motion planning teams to ensure seamless integration of control algorithms into the broader ADAS architecture
- Follow agile development methodologies and the V-Model for developing and testing vehicle control modules
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, software developers, and system integrators, to ensure comprehensive system validation and performance
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to junior engineers, promoting a collaborative and innovative team culture
Your profile:
- Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field, a Ph.D. is preferred
- 7 to 10 years of proven experience in the automotive industry, with a focus on vehicle control systems, ADAS, or autonomous driving technologies
- Strong expertise in vehicle dynamics and control systems, particularly in low-speed maneuvering and high-speed stability
- Proficient in the development of control algorithms using C, C++, Python, and MATLAB.
- Experience in delivering complex control software from design to implementation, testing, and validation on automotive-grade hardware
- Familiarity with auto-parking systems and the development of precise, reliable vehicle control algorithms for such applications
- Experience with agile development methodologies and the V-Model, with a focus on automotive software development
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to quality. Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide junior engineers
- Understanding of AUTOSAR and AUTOSAR Adaptive
- Familiarity with Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) standards and their application in control systems development
- Fluent English skills
